Festival Bank Holiday WeekendTo celebrate the 50th Anniversary, Mallock cars provided the main events and focus of the 750 Motor Club Festival Weekend on 23rd and 24th August '08 at Silverstone. These included a static display, a Mallock ?allcomers? race on the Saturday and a Grand Parade of Mallock cars past and present on Sunday morning.The main event on Sunday was The Mallock Club Gold Trophy, a handicap race which was open to any Mallock car from an original Mk.2 to the current Mk. 35 ?Synergy? Clubmans formula cars. Richard and Ray Mallock, sons of the founder, made a special plea to all Mallock owners, including hillclimb and sprint cars, to bring their cars to Silverstone to race or display.?The 750 Club has had strong links with Mallock for over 50 years? says Richard, who currently heads U2 production and sales. ?A magnificent celebration meeting for Arthur?s 75th birthday was run in 1993 and we would dearly love to surpass that large turn-out in August.?Records show that a very high percentage of the 300 ? 400 cars produced are still in existence and many are still competing and winning on a regular basis.

Additional protection from the prop-shaft. A new fibreglass interior 'elbow' panel with kevlar reinforcement, now moulded with reduced elbow space (to ease diff changing, save weight, etc. ). Mallock Sports will be running Nigel Corry in his freshly rebuilt Mk30 'Cup' car in the 2009 Clubmans Cup Championship along with Bob Crozier and Andy Ayres in the Classic Clubmans Championship their A Sport Classic Mallocks.
Richard Churchley's hillclimb chassis has recently undergone repairs after his 'off' at Loton Park. Richard is hoping to be back out on the hills in August and has offered Richard (Mallock) a shared drive, watch this space!
A 750MC kitcar has taken advantage of the Mallock flatpatch and set up service. We will be following up the cars performance and hopefully watching it progress through the field.
The Elite gearbox had its first win in a Mallock at Thruxton in August. Driver Jonathan Hair in a Mk28 achieved poleposition and his own first race win on the fast and demanding circuit.
Stefan Mumm has secured the 2009 Scandinavian Clubmans Championship in his Mallock Mk35. Fitted with the Zetec 1800 engineboth Mk35 'synergy' Mallocks are being raced by brothers Stefan & Bjarne Mumm.
Peter Harper has secured the 2009 Classic Clubmans A Sport Championship after his double win at Pembrey with his Mk20b on August 29th/30th.
Brothers Barry & Paul Webb have both won Championships in their Mallock cars this year. Barry won the Clubmans Cupat the final round at Oulton Park and Paul has clinched the B Sport Classic Clubmans trophy on his return to the Formula.
